As a Site Labourer at Benjamin Matthew Contracting, you will play an important role in keeping job sites organized, safe, and running efficiently. This is a physically demanding position that involves a mix of hands-on labour, site clean ups, and general support to the project team. You will assist with daily tasks that help ensure projects stay on track and are completed to our standards.

Approximately 70% of this role involves general labour, with the remaining 30% focused on site cleaning, organization, and deliveries.

• Ability to perform physically demanding work in a fast-paced construction environment

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Comfortable working as part of a team and taking direction from supervisors
• Valid driver’s license and ability to assist with deliveries as required
• Ability to follow safety procedures and job site guidelines

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is considered an asset
• Ability to assist carpenters and trades with tasks as required
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
• Ability to support overall project execution and help with close out lists
• Organized and detail oriented when maintaining clean and efficient job sites
• Willingness to learn new skills is considered an asset
